I've always had aspirations of being a teacher and in actuality I really am, my classroom just happens to be the stage
and I've enjoyed using the image of ah man seen by some as controversial, where as I see MX as a master teacher who long after his murder still influences so many

Todays fellowship, I started solo, knowing that when others arrive & see my truck they know to catch up. I was having self dialogue “yes” I talk you myself prior to engaging individuals or an audience & there is strength in a few. Carl & Kevin are two of my regulars. We never know who has something burning 🔥 to get off their chest, so we allowing space by listening. Then we see how one persons story connects to another’s, only the particulars facts differ. The conversation about family dynamics, setting boundaries etc got so heavy the # of time we went around the pond that stretches a miles in diameter was lost, I’d say we did 5 miles exercising the body while feeding the mind.

The first Sat in Sept I plan to invite the ladies for a complete fellowship expressing our 1 ❤️

Our Story

For as long as I can remember, I've had aspirations of being a teacher, I recall many mornings of being awakend from a dream standing and sharing so to inspire others and by way of what I do as a performing artist and I’ve come to realize that I am a teacher and my classroom happens to be anywhere that I create a stage and I have certainly enjoyed using the image of Minister Malcolm X who I see as a master teacher still, because in sharing his story from my perspective, I realize that I am also sharing aspect of my own life story and it will continue to flourish. I recalling when the seed was planted, skip-in class hang-in out in the school libary of Thomas Stone high school somewhere around 1980. A teacher takes notice comes my way to investagate, because back then me in the libary and a book looked suspious and teacher comes my way, then having no ideal that I’d one day become an actor, my mind said action as I randomly grabed book and as I fliped through the pages, suddenly I was memorized by this man in the black rimed glasses, looking as if he was really saying something of importance and no longer was I fake-in as oppose to being fully engaged.

The very first book that I read on my own, which never found it’s back to the school libary and actually my mom presented this book to me some years ago and stated that it was one of the first times she had ever seen me fully engaged in learning...

As I continue to keep alive the spirit of my personal hero; Brother minister Malcolm X
