please come out and enjoy a lovely afternoon on October 11, 2026, 3pm - 6 pm with Word & Ryan

Ryan Fowler and Rahsaan "Wordslave" Eldridge are two of Maryland’s most dynamic performers. Word is a poet, author, and lead singer of the Annapolis funk and soul band Honest Lee Soul. Ryan is the lead guitarist for Veer, and also a current member of the Kelly Bell Band where they met nearly 15 years ago. Between the two, they’ve been voted Maryland’s Best Blues Band, Best Funk Band, Best Rock Band, and Best Songwriter, and Baltimore's Best Poet. They’ve teamed up with an array of music ranging from funk, soul, and rock, to country, folk, and blues.

hey you musical loving peeps - wanted to give a HUGE shout out to the The Gayle Harrod Band - you guys really killed it. I'm just bummed that there were not enough people to really enjoy it. It was a hot and steamy day and you brought the hot august blues in September! Thank you to Christine Frechette, Pamela Worley Meador, Norine McMahon, Dale Kane & Victoria, Danielle Barandiaran (yummy bread and goat's cheese) and a new person Calvin Russell (who just googled blues events and Live at Luria showed up so he did!)
Our next show is Rahsaan Wordslave Eldridge & Ryan on Sunday, October 10, 2026, 3 pm - 6pm. I will post more about them as it gets closer to the date.
and lest I forget and HUGE thank you to Dan for all his help in setting up and tearing down.
