In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Cape May Stage and AtlantiCare Cancer Care Institute invite you to a special screening of FIVE, a moving collection of five short films that explore how breast cancer changes lives, relationships, and families.

Through five unique stories, this powerful film reminds us that behind every diagnosis is a person, a family, and a journey worth sharing.

Rehearsals are underway for tonight’s free reading of honeysuckle, brutal & breaking by local playwright Brandon Monokian.

Set in South Jersey in 2000, the play follows a group of teens on a hill above the summer carnival as games and whiskey-fueled confessions test their friendships and desires.

Join us at Cape May Stage at 7 PM. The reading is free and open to the public.

Cape May Stage proudly presented a donation to Cape May Cares in support of its All-Star Theater Camp, helping local children experience the magic of live theater!

Through creativity, collaboration, and self-expression, this wonderful program builds confidence, sparks imagination, and introduces young people to the joy of performing.

Many thanks to Keith Lafferty and Claudia Von Savage of Cape May Cares, and Kate and Jerry Hathaway for bringing the transformative power of theater to the next generation of stars! 🌟

Behind every great performance is someone making sure the magic happens seamlessly!

Today, we're shining the spotlight on Micah Brandt Hale, who is celebrating his first full season with Cape May Stage! 🌟

A recent graduate of Wagner College, Micah brings an impressive background in stage management and technical theater, having worked on productions including Rent, City of Angels, The Prom, and A Grand Night for Singing.

From coordinating cues and keeping rehearsals on track to managing all those behind-the-scenes details audiences never see, stage managers are truly the unsung heroes of live theater!

👏 Please join us in giving Micah a well-deserved round of applause and thanking him for the dedication, organization, and hard work he brings to Cape May Stage!

New plays begin with new voices—and we’re honored to help bring them to the stage! 🎭

Cape May Stage is proud to host a reading of honeysuckle, brutal & breaking on October 12 as part of The NJPlayLab’s inaugural 2026 ALL EXITS! NJ Statewide Reading Series.

Created to expand opportunities for playwrights outside the major urban areas of New York City and Philadelphia, ALL EXITS! provides professional support and a platform for their work.

We’re honored to support this play and its playwright in these early stages of development. Join us in celebrating new work and the voices shaping the future of theater!
