We’re excited to have Kate McCauley Hathaway as Aislin and Sara Koviak as Stacy in José Rivera’s moving and thought-provoking play, directed by Roy Steinberg.

The cast and crew has been working hard all week and we can’t wait to share this beautiful story with Cape May audiences.

An Academy Award-nominated screenwriter and two-time OBIE Award winner, Rivera has built a remarkable career creating stories for both stage and screen. Now, you can hear from Rivera himself in a new episode of American Theatre’s "The Subtext."

Today has us digging through the Cape May Stage archives… and we found a favorite! 🐶

Back in 2019, Kate McCauley Hathaway appeared as Kate in A.R. Gurney’s hilarious comedy "Sylvia" — the story of a marriage turned upside down when one very opinionated dog enters the picture. 🐶❤️

Now, Kate is returning to the Cape May Stage stage in an entirely different kind of relationship.

This September, she stars as Aislin in José Rivera’s "Your Name Means Dream," opposite Sara Koviak as Stacy, her AI caregiver.

From navigating life with an unexpected four-legged addition to navigating a world of artificial intelligence, we love seeing Kate return to our stage!
