🎶 Touring musicians… let’s build a killer list.

Add ONE great listening room venue you’ve played.

Anywhere in the country.

Coffeehouses, listening rooms, house concerts, small theaters, breweries — places where people actually come to listen.

Just drop:

Venue Name – City, State

Then scroll the comments and add another if you see one missing.

Let’s see how big of a list we can build 👇

🎸 Touring musicians — quick question

How many dead days do you usually have on a 2–3 week tour?

1–3
4–7
8+

I’ve been building a tool called Map My Gig that helps artists find gigs between cities and fill those gaps.

You can:

• search cities for venues
• map out routes visually
• track open tour dates
• collaborate with other artists

I’m looking for musicians to test it and give honest feedback.

It’s a browser-based app for now (works great on mobile) while I keep building new features. If you open it on your phone, you can save it to your home screen and it works just like an app.

On iPhone:

On Android:
Menu → Add to Home Screen

Over the past few years, I’ve watched so many incredible independent artists piece together tours city by city, trying to fill gaps, avoid dead days, and make the routing make sense.

So I built something to help.

It’s called Map My Gig — and it lets you see your entire tour in one place, visualize your route, identify open gaps, discover venues, and plan smarter runs.

This wasn’t built by a tech company.
It was built by someone who’s worked with touring artists, hosted shows, and understands the reality of independent touring.

If you’re an artist, booking your own tours, or managing routing, I’d love for you to check it out and tell me what you think.

Comment Map if you would like the link!

This is just the beginning, and your feedback will help shape where it goes next.

Cape G Rocks has always been about supporting independent artists — this is just another way to do that.

Pro tip: The best festival experiences start way before you enter the gates. 🗺️🎒

Whether it’s mapping out your must-see artists or planning the perfect road trip route, a little prep goes a long way. Our advice? Always leave room for the unexpected discovery—that’s where the real magic happens.

There’s something about a living room filled with the sound of a raw, acoustic set that a stadium just can't match. 🎤✨

It’s where the distance between the artist and the listener disappears, and you’re left with nothing but the music and the moment. Those intimate vibrations stay with you long after the final chord.

Save this for your next show.

There's something about a living room show that just hits different.

No stage. No barrier. No VIP section.

Just you, 20 other people who really care, and an artist who's close enough to make eye contact.

The amp hums. Someone laughs between songs. You hear the squeak of the capo. The room breathes with the music.

That's the magic we chase.

Save this for your next show 🎶

Festival tip you won’t see on the packing lists:

Bring a real blanket.

Not the dusty one from your trunk. A soft one. The kind you’d actually use at home.

Because there’s always that moment — between sets, after the crowd thins — when you just want to lay back and watch the clouds move.

That’s when you’ll be glad you packed comfort over cool.

Eyes on the screen tonight! 🎤✨

Missouri’s own Hannah Harper is taking the stage on American Idol at 7PM CST. We love seeing local talent shine on the big stage—there’s nothing like watching a journey start right from home.

Are you tuning in to support our hometown girl? Put this on your radar.
