If you would’ve told us after our first show nine years ago that one day, we’d be putting on a full-fledged punk fest in the streets of downtown Cape, we’d have called you cray-zeee.


And yet, here we are.


Last night's 5th Annual Punktoberfest was nothing short of miraculous as a small group of can-doers got it done in the CGMO.


First and foremost, Ebb and Flow Fermentations has hosted Punktoberfest for each of its five years and we are so greatly appreciative of Mr. Dewayne Schaaf for making that possible. We have been working in tandem for nearly seven months to bring this year’s ‘Fest to fruition and a LOT of work was done by Dewayne behind the scenes. We are so grateful to the entire Ebb staff that worked nonstop from start to finish yesterday. Special shout-out to Trevor Camp and Josh Knuckles Bernstein for their time spent monitoring the entire event to ensure it ran smoothly. And big ups to Ty Rendleman for volunteering, as well!

And of course, the biggest huzzah to our partners at Richter Sound and Light who worked 12 hours straight to turn Spanish Street into an incredible outdoor venue. Truly awe-inspiring what they did last night. Thanks for being with us every step of the way.


Thank you to The Copyrights for joining our festivities. We appreciate your time and putting on one hell of a show.


But the main reason for this night was to celebrate some of the awesome original rock talent we have in our city. Flight Jacket, PFR, Isabella, Gary Robert and Community and The SelloutX put on killer performances from top to bottom, highlighting just a sample of the wonderful music scene we are privileged to be a part of.


Thank you to every single person that made the 5th Annual Punktoberfest happen, including the hundreds of eventgoers who came together for a night local music, local food, local collaboration, and local fun. Claws up, yall 🦀
