Things are happening at
Painted Wren Art Gallery. Two large Paint-For-a-Cause murals are entering their final stages of completion. The Blues Highway Mural in celebration of the 100year anniversary of Highway 61 and The Stars and Stripes Museum mural will both be finished soon if things go as planned. Both these murals are one of a kind ‘legacy murals’ in which the public has been invited to participate. So far 480 people have shared brushstrokes on the Blues Highway Mural with more to come. The Stars & Stripes mural painting has been completed with 3,633 participants painting. These murals will be professionally photographed and then hand varnished three times. We are thankful for donations that have helped with expenses on both murals. God bless you all for believing in and lending your hands to these projects.

Today we were visited by two enthusiastic young people (young by my 74 year old standards anyway) who each painted a triangle on the Blues Highway Mural. It’s always a fun time when people are excited to paint! ❤️
