River City Players Community Theatre is so thankful for Port Cape and Doc Cain for supporting us for 30 years. Doc gave us the opportunity in 1996 to perform our productions in the Yacht Club along with offering a dinner show or a dessert show at 6:30 with the play beginning at 7:30. How awesome to do this in historic downtown Cape. We are in rehearsals for the July 9-12 production of “The Ballet of Fervour of Perhaps Bingo” written by Jos Biggs and directed by Debbie Barnhouse. We would love for you to make reservations for one of the four performances by calling Port Cape 573-334-0954 and reserve your table. All info is on attached flyer along with pics of our downtown! Also take a look at this cast and know that they have been preparing for this show since April. A one hour comedy with some very colorful characters that all have some kind of trait that causes arguments, disagreements, audition problems and quirks that makes the character so interesting and lovable❤️
You don’t want to miss this one! Enjoy the pics and we will see you at the THEATRE🎭

Rehearsals are the main event when putting together a production. This cast and crew have been working on “The Ballet of Fervour or Perhaps Bingo” since April. A lot of time and love is put into each show. Chemistry between cast-mates is very important and this cast certainly has it. Not only do they rehearse together and see each other outside of rehearsal but they have a meal together at least once if not twice a week. Now that’s chemistry! They talk, laugh, critique each other in the kindest way and truly care for each other. Come and see these 5 (Bryan, Tess (not pictured), Jen J., Douglas aka Fish, and Elizabeth starring in this one hour comedy! The characters they play are funny, quirky, opinionated, over the top and very entertaining. Show dates, type of show and price are on the attached flyer. Call Port Cape @573-334-0954 and make those reservations today. Dinner shows tend to sell out so if that’s what you’re interested in make that call. ❤️🎭

P.S. included in the pic is assistant director Jen P., the husband of one of the cast mates Bryan and one of our understudies Sharron.

Reservations are on my mind this afternoon. You have a few more weeks to get them to our July show “The Ballet of Fervour of Perhaps Bingo” by Jos Biggs and directed by Debbie Barnhouse. Listen to what Tess has to say in her video about this production. You definitely don’t want to miss out on her playing the role of Gofer, which basically is the assistant to the director in this play. Tess has been with RCP for several years now and you have most likely seen her in other productions that we have done. Tess is excellent at bringing a character to life and boy oh boy has she ever brought Gofer to life. It’s just about all Gofer can do to keep her cool with the Director who thinks everthing is about him? Call 573-334-0954 and reserve your seats today. The show runs July 9-12 at Port Cape in the Yacht Club. As always we will see you at the theatre❤️🎭
