MEET THE CAST OF SWORD IN THE STONE: Marrisa Waddy plays Actor 5, Dragon

Marrisa is excited to be performing in The Sword In The Stone! She has appeared in many plays in the past at several different theaters in Illinois, Missouri, and Kentucky. Her most notable roles at R.A.D. studios are Demeter from Persephone, Staruhke from Baba Yaga, and T-Rex from The Dinosaur Play. Marrisa would like to thank her family and friends for supporting and allowing her to pursue her dreams. She hopes you enjoy the show!

"The Sword in the Stone" by Shaan Sharma.

"The crown of England is empty and has been for thirteen years, since the last king passed away. England has been waiting for the heir, the king’s son, to grow to the age that he might take the crown. At long last a young nobody named Arty pulls a sword from a stone and is suddenly catapulted into royalty. Woefully unequipped to handle such a role, the previous king’s advisor, the wizard Merlin, offers to take Arty under his wing to train to be king before his official crowning...."

MEET THE CAST OF SWORD IN THE STONE: Josey Gohn plays Merlin

I've done 3 shows prior to this one with R.A.D studios. I have always aspired to be in the performing arts since the age of 6. It's always been impressive to me, seeing what people do with their emotions, the control they can have over them, and the way they can make people feel them too. I'm grateful for the opportunities that this group has given me to take on such challenging characters. I hope everyone enjoys our show, as we're equipping ourselves to give you all the best performances possible.
