After an event of this caliber we like to step back, get our bearings and thank the people who step up and make this event possible. We'd like to start with our wonderful DJ/MC of the night Gregory Vaughn - DJ owner of Media Leaf LLC. Greg helped us with some content this year as well as playing great music between bands and doing a fantastic job being the MC and keeping the party going. This is the second year Greg has volunteered his time and energies to our Veterans and we couldn't thank him enough! Thanks Greg for supporting the Cape Girardeau Veterans Home Foundation and the many things you do for our community.

Thank you Century Casino & Hotel Cape Girardeau for supporting our Veterans! Everyone can stop by the Old Town Cape River Front Market in the morning, swing by Century Casino after shopping and brunching to game, then head outside to the casino parking lot for our FREE community event and enjoy kids crafts, the Scouting America STEM van, food trucks and Jeremy Toll on guitar at 2pm. THEN at 4pm come INSIDE the event center and have a great time dancing to some fantastic music! Don’t miss out! Get your tickets at freedomfestcape.com!
