Some festival finds are meant to follow you home like a hex you accidentally welcomed in.

This 3-ply came together from fibers I couldn’t stop thinking about after the festival dust settled:
Praying Mantis from (2026 fiber witch buy)
Coral Cove from (2026 passed at fiber witch and purchased online with regret it wasn’t already here)
and Stay Soft from (2025 fiber witch buy)

438 yards of earthy, mossy, softly glowing worsted weight magic now resting on the bobbin like a forest spell waiting to bloom. The silk catches the light like damp leaves at dusk, and the little flashes of stellina feel like tiny trapped stars.

Now comes the part every spinner knows feels a little like divination — the wash.
Can’t wait to see what this skein becomes once the water sets the twist and the fibers decide who they truly are.

I tried so hard to be sensible at Fiber Witch Festival this year.
I walked away from a few treasures whispering “you do not need more wool.”

Unfortunately this batt followed me home in spirit and haunted me from afar until I finally gave in to the call. 🌙🖤

Now “Coral Cove” from Rapunzel Fiber Arts is finally on my wheel, spinning into this moody witchberry yarn full of Romney, silk, bamboo, and tiny bits of temptation.

Some fibers are purchases.
Some are prophecies. ✨🧶

Can’t wait to ply this with the other magical batts and braids I brought back from Fiber Witch Festival.

A day stitched in spellwork and soft magic ✨

Wandered the Fiber Witch Festival 2026 ( )and let myself be completely enchanted… no restraint, only “treat yourself” energy and a willingness to follow whatever shimmer called my name.

Arms full of dreamy spinning fibers from and , a single perfect hank from (because sometimes one skein is all the universe intends), and a scatter of stickers like tiny sigils collected along the way.

Shared a tarot spread and aura reading with my love at our energies glowing, a little brighter, a little more understood.

Closed the circle with an early feast at Flying Saucer Pizza Co., because even witches need grounding after a day between worlds.

Grateful for Mike and Jackie: co-conspirators in magic, mischief, and fiber-fueled joy.

Some days are just… charmed 🖤🧶✨

The Nouveau cardigan is deep in its back cable era; fi*****ng weight magic and miles of texture, all in this absolutely intoxicating turmeric. I swear this color glows.

Every repeat feels like a quiet little ritual, building something intricate and strong, one cable cross at a time 🖤

Deadline energy is real. aiming for 4/20 off the needles so it can be washed, blocked, and dry before 4/25. Calling in all the fiber witch luck 🔮

Day 1 progress on my Nouveau Cardigan 🧶✨

Working through the back shoulder shaping last night and settling into the rhythm of it. There’s something a little magical about the start of a new garment: just yarn, needles, and a quiet little spell forming stitch by stitch.

Very Ellie vibes in this one already. Now to keep the momentum going and see if I can finish it in time for the .
