Ready or not; I don’t care. 🍂🎃🖤

I had my gallbladder surgery Friday, and I’ve been feeling like absolute dirt. I can’t eat anything I want, I’m sore, I’m tired, and generally just not having a great time.

But you know what I can have?

A house that looks and feels like FALL. 🍁🕯️🔮

And apparently, that was enough motivation for this witch to summon the season early. I don’t care that it’s August. I don’t care that summer isn’t technically over. The pumpkins are out, the witches are flying, the cozy is ON, and my little corner of the world feels like autumn magic.

A very big thank you to Michael for helping me bring my vision to life. He would do it for me no matter how I felt, but there was a level of URGENT AUTUMN ENERGY around getting this done this year that I have never seen before. 😂

This is what love looks like: helping your stubborn, post-op witch decorate the house for fall because she has decided that she simply must. 🖤

Feeling loved. Feeling supported. Feeling thankful.

And maybe just a tiny bit better surrounded by yarn, witches, pumpkins, and all the cozy magic. 🍂✨

The witch is ready. The house is ready. Bring on fall.

🌙✨ WELCOME, LUNETTE ✨🌙

Last night, after some time waxing, assembling, and probably questioning his life choices, Mike brought my newest magical accomplice to life. 😂🖤

Meet Lunette, my new Louet S17 spinning wheel. 🧶🌙

I think she may have been conjured specifically for me.

She’s already sitting in her place among the yarn, the wool, the plants, the tiny woodland creatures, and all the other ingredients of my cozy little fiber witch’s lair: and I am madly, ridiculously, completely in love.

There’s something about turning fleece into yarn by hand that feels a little like alchemy. A little ancient. A little spellwork.

And now I have a proper wheel to help me weave the magic. ✨

Thank you, Mike, for waxing, assembling, and bringing Lunette into the family late last night. You may have just created a monster. 🖤

The spinning begins. 🌙
The wool awaits. 🐑
The witch is delighted. 🧙‍♀️🧶

Well, well, well… it’s about time. Come in, come in!
I ordered this before I found out I’d need 2 weeks off for surgery. I’m thrilled I’ll have it and hopefully be able to enjoy it in my recovery.
Now to clean at least one of these four fleeces I have so I have some fun to spin up 😁🥴

A little tie-dye magic for the fall camping collection 🍂🏕️✨

This Turkish towel got a giant, colorful mandala makeover, perfect for drying off after a camp shower, wrapping up after getting caught in an unexpected autumn rainstorm, or just adding a little handmade magic to camp. 🌈🍁

Because even practical camping gear deserves to be pretty. ✨

This little sweater was knit with a whole lot of love—and apparently, a little bit of incorrect baby intel. 😂💙

I originally thought this sweet little bundle was a girl, but SURPRISE: baby boy! Thankfully, I think this sweater is pretty perfect for him anyway. 💙

Hand-knit in Australian superwash, hand-dyed wool, with lots of tiny stitches and even more love. I hope this keeps him cozy and becomes one of those little things his family holds onto and remembers.

His mama has been such an enormous advocate for me since becoming my doctor, and I’m endlessly grateful for the care, kindness, and support she’s given me. I hope she gets to soak up every second of this leave and all the beautiful, exhausting, wonderful moments with her new little bundle. 🥹💙

Welcome to the world, little guy. You were worth every stitch. 🧶✨

✨ WIP Wednesday ✨

Tiny stitches for a tiny human.

Working on a little sweater for someone very special—the newest member of my primary care doctor’s family. 💜

Over the past year and a half, she’s been one of the people who never stopped listening, never stopped looking for answers, and never made me feel like I was “too much.” It’s hard to put gratitude into words, but I can knit it into every stitch.

I hope this little sweater wraps their sweet girl in even a fraction of the warmth and kindness they’ve shown me.

I love leaving some paintings untitled—without a name, the viewer gets to decide what they see and what they feel. Every shape, color, and curve tells a different story depending on who’s looking.

This original is available for purchase.

For questions about size, pricing, or shipping, leave a comment or send me a message. I’d love to tell you more about it.
