What lingers reminds us…. of who we once were; of who we still are, or always have been; of who we could become.

What lingers reminds us… of what we’ve overcome; of our history, how it repeats itself; of those who came before us; of what they gave, and what we gained; of what we’ve lost; of how much there still is to lose; of what really matters; of what’s worth fighting for.

What lingers reminds us… that we know what is true; that it isn’t too late; that love is love; that we each have a role to play; that the Earth is resilient; that people are resilient; that hope is contagious; that a spark can be enough.

I’ve been spending less time online and more time writing, making art, and reading. I’m updating my studio journal most Fridays- this week will be writing about my no buy art supply year - you can subscribe for email updates.

Massachusetts is starting to tease warmer weather and hopefully soon I’ll add much more time outside to the list, though today it’s freezing - the wind is whipping through me and I’m wishing I wore a hat to take my son to school.

It has been a cold and snowy winter here so far and I’m counting down to warmer weather and the of Cape Cod’s Artist and Collector’s Dinner in May. This piece, “A Melody and the Taste of Sea Salt” will be available in the salon show. If you’re interested in attending as a collector, check out the Cultural Center’s site or DM me and I’ll get the info to you!

I’m making changes to how I release original artwork. Details are in my studio journal but the most important thing for you to know is that I’ll be releasing work via my online shop 2-3x/year, for 2 weeks. After which, I will be painting over or repurposing remaining work into something new.

To support this transition my shop will be open now - the end of February. If there is a piece you’ve been eying, please grab it or inquire with me before March 1!

I love how “Finding the Shore” looks in this acrylic frame from . The main painting is on wood panel but I also painted on top of the frame to add extra depth. There will be 2 pieces in these frames in my upcoming collection.

This piece measures at 12x12” painted area and 15x15” in total area with the frame. It’s the perfect piece for a gallery wall or to make a smaller space feel a bit cozier.
