Soon my new commission artwork "Journey to the Moon" , at NASA, art and science together, a dream come true!
Thanks to our friend Mateo Londono for the invitation to the Kennedy Space Center!.
Getting to know your work more closely and obtaining many more photographic and historical references about the first man on the Moon has made me reframe your commission to transmit this important moment in human history through oil painting.
Apollo 11 was the first crewed mission to land on the Moon. During this mission, astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first humans to set foot on another planetary body and bring samples back to Earth. The Lunar Module (LM) Eagle of the Apollo 11 spacecraft landed on the lunar surface in the Sea of ​​Tranquility on July 20, 1969.
