Have you ever wanted to try sewing or crochet but weren’t sure where to begin? Maybe you’ve saved a dozen projects, admired handmade pieces, or wondered whether you’d enjoy learning a new craft but didn’t want to invest in supplies before giving it a try.

Let’s explore that curiosity together! 🧵🧶

Join Rooted Vision Photo Club and a local sewing and crochet crafter for Threads of Time, an introductory, hands-on workshop designed for curious beginners.

We’ll explore sewing tools and materials, talk about getting started with crochet, ask questions, share ideas, and work on a seasonal crochet pumpkin with a cinnamon stick. There will also be snacks, drinks, and time to connect with other local creatives.

You don’t need experience or a collection of supplies. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to try something new.

The Partnership for the Arts & Humanities, along with Canton Township, is proud to honor local veterans with “Faces of Service,” a special presentation and exhibit that shares the stories, experiences, and sacrifices of local servicemen and servicewomen.
Public photo submissions for the exhibit are now open! Community members are encouraged to submit the name, rank, branch of service, and photo of area veterans or active-duty service members. Materials should be submitted by Monday, November 2, online at https://tinyurl.com/facesofservice or dropped off at Canton Club 55+ in the Summit on the Park, 46000 Summit Parkway.

There are still spots open for this Saturday's Art Walk in Cherry Hill Village!

Enjoy a walk through the picturesque Cherry Hill Village while taking in the fall foliage as well as two new art exhibits!

We begin our journey at the Village Theater, where you’ll be welcomed with coffee and donuts as you take in the current exhibition at The Gallery at Cherry Hill. From there, we’ll enjoy a guided stroll to the Arts Warehouse for a behind-the-scenes look at this creative hub, including a tour of the Arts Warehouse's latest fine arts exhibition.
