The Dance Connection is proud to be celebrating our 27th year in business. We offer ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, pom-pon, musical theater and pointe classes. We offer 'creative dance' classes for children ages 3 and 4. Our studio is equipped with four spacious dance rooms and waiting rooms.

At The Dance Connection we teach the Cecchetti method of ballet in all of our ballet classes. The Cecchetti method is French based and is one of the main training techniques of classical ballet. The Cecchetti method is a graded system that develops and teaches students from basic ballet in Grade 1 all the way through professional levels.

For any of our dancers starting at the age of 8 who wish to focus more on ballet technique and want the ability to train on Pointe we offer graded Cecchetti classes on Tuesday nights. These classes do not learn a routine or participate in rectial, and instead meet each week with the goal of taking their Cecchetti exam to move up in the graded system. In order to take our graded Cecchetti classes you must gain prior approval from our staff. If this is something that interests your dancer at home please give us a call during our open registration hours every Tuesday night from 5pm-8pm to discuss with our staff.

One of our most popular styles of dance is Jazz! Jazz is an energetic class that will include stretching and cardiovascular exercise along with basic body isolations and coordination exercises using upbeat and popular music. Jazz class is a fun and fast paced mixture of various techniques.

We currently still have spots available in jazz classes for dancers starting at the age of 6 on various nights of the week. Please check our website for our most updated schedule. Hip Hop is a blend of today's high energy "street style" movement. Typically performed to popular pop and hip hop music, this style of dance has been sought after by dancers of all ages.

Do you have a preschool aged child at home looking for a weekly activity?! Come join us for our Creative Dance class for children ages 3 and 4. Creative Dance is a preschool based beginner Ballet class. Dancers will perform a Ballet routine in our annual recital in June. Our free trial dance classes are happening TONIGHT!!! No pre-registration is required. We ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the start of the class(es) your dancer is interested in trying. If dancers do not have proper dance attire they should wear loose fitting clothes and can go barefoot in the dance room.

An extremely popular class for our dancers ages 8+ is Pom Pon. Pom Pon is a high energy, upbeat class. The routines encourage good posture and proper form, precise rhythm and timing, excellence of formations and transitions, showmanship, creative and visual choreography, outstanding kicklines and jump skills, and much more. Dancers registered for Pom Pon will perform a pom routine in recital. In addition to having a costume ordered they will also have a set of matching poms ordered for the recital performance in June!

Pom Pon is offered on our 2026-27 schedule on Monday and Thursday evenings with Ms. Aileen. Please check our website for the most updated schedule.
