Have you ever wanted to try sewing or crochet but weren’t sure where to begin? Maybe you’ve saved a dozen projects, admired handmade pieces, or wondered whether you’d enjoy learning a new craft but didn’t want to invest in supplies before giving it a try.

Let’s explore that curiosity together! 🧵🧶

Join Rooted Vision Photo Club and a local sewing and crochet crafter for Threads of Time, an introductory, hands-on workshop designed for curious beginners.

We’ll explore sewing tools and materials, talk about getting started with crochet, ask questions, share ideas, and work on a seasonal crochet pumpkin with a cinnamon stick. There will also be snacks, drinks, and time to connect with other local creatives.

You don’t need experience or a collection of supplies. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to try something new.

This World Mental Health Day, we’re celebrating art that reminds us we matter.

At the Arts Warehouse at Cherry Hill, we’re proud to support the four Poetry Project murals here in Canton Township. Pairing colorful artwork with the words of UK poet James McInerney, these murals bring messages of kindness, hope, and belonging into our everyday surroundings.

The Poetry Project shares poetry in public spaces around the world to raise mental health awareness and remind people they are not alone. Here in Canton, those words become part of our community—an invitation to pause, reflect, and remember our own worth.

The murals pictured here offer reminders we can all carry with us: be kind, recognize your value today, and know that you are loved even when the world feels distant.

Today and every day, let’s make room for honest conversations about mental health. Check in on someone you care about, listen with compassion, and give yourself permission to ask for support. You deserve care and connection.

Canton, you brought the Stars Hollow charm!

Last night, Preservation Park transformed into our favorite fictional small town for a special Gilmore Girls–themed Fall Into Art—and you made it feel right at home!

From decorating mugs, coasters, bookmarks, and lanterns to pumpkin tic-tac-toe, live music, and photos by the Stars Hollow sign, there were plenty of ways to get creative and soak up the fall fun. Add sweet donuts, c***r, cozy drinks from Luke's Diner, and Blake’s w**e tastings for the adults, and we were ready to stay for another episode!

A HUGE thank-you to our guests, volunteers, musicians, vendors, and staff who brought this special night to life. Whether you came with your own Lorelai or Rory, gathered your friends, or introduced the little ones to some Stars Hollow magic, we loved sharing the evening with you!

Keep the fall fun going! Join us next week for our LAST Fall Into Art at the Arts Warehouse at Cherry Hill, featuring Play-in-the-Clay with the Cherry Hill Potters Guild and a DIY Marshmallow Bar! Bring your creativity—and your sweet tooth—for one more evening of festive fun.
