We're just ONE WEEK away from Discover Suburban Plaza! 🎉🎃

We're excited to team up with our neighboring businesses for another fun afternoon right here in Suburban Plaza!

💡 R&J Dance Tip
Practice Without Music Sometimes

Music is an important part of dancing, but sometimes it's helpful to turn it off.

Without the music, you can focus more closely on your foot placement, balance, posture, and how one movement connects to the next.

Try walking through a pattern slowly, paying attention to the details.

Then turn the music back on and see how those improvements carry over.

Sometimes removing one challenge gives you a better opportunity to work on another.

Everyone gets to share their ideas, offer suggestions, and give their opinions.

Some of us are just a little more... direct with our feedback than others. 😂🤣

Got Two Left Feet? This class is for you. 👣

Our next Two Left Feet course starts Friday, October 30. It’s made for people who have never danced before. We keep things easy and fun, with beginner friendly dances like Rumba, Waltz, and Salsa.

Class: 6:00–6:30 PM
Practice social: 6:30–7:00 PM
Four-week course: $55 | Single-class drop-in: $20

After class, stick around to try what you learned—or just hang out, meet some people, and enjoy your Friday evening. There’s no pressure to dance the whole time, and you don’t need a partner to join us.

Tired of the cliques? Yeah... so are we.

Walking into a new place as an adult can already feel a little awkward. The last thing anyone needs is to feel like everyone else already has their group and there's no room for them.

That's something we work pretty hard to avoid at R&J.

We want this to be a community that's kind, welcoming, open, and easy to become a part of—whether you've been dancing with us for years or tonight is literally your first night.

It's one of the reasons we encourage people to dance with different partners. It's why we have Game Nights, parties, and other events that give people a chance to actually get to know each other. And it's why our instructors try to make a point of helping new people feel included instead of leaving them to figure everything out on their own.

Of course, friendships form. People become close. That's a good thing. ❤️

But we never want those friendships to make someone else feel like there's no room for them.

There's room.

So if you've ever worried about walking into a dance studio where everybody already knows everybody... come on in.

We'd really like to know you, too. 😊
