A year ago today my precious baby Pretzel came to live with us. I wasn't sure how long we'd have her, I was worried my house would be too scary for her but I knew she'd at least be happier here than a pet store until she was adopted. She came out of her shell quickly and we made the decision to adopt her within the week. Im so happy to have her, I love her so much.

Donut update. 🍩🐈
Good news today. Donut is feeling much better and he's eating again 😻🥰 His temperature was normal today also. Today was the first day we weren't at the vet since Monday.
With all the tests and images this week we still don't know 100% what it was other than a nasty infection. He will be on antibiotics for the next 12 days still. We go for a recheck on Tuesday.
I am so relieved that my little guy is feeling better. I took this photo last night when he brought a baby squish up to play. They are his favorite toys so I knew he was feeling better. He's even begged for food today!
The vet bills this week were insane but I was willing to do whatever he needed. The 20% off sale ends Sunday night. Thank you so much for all or your kind words, thoughts and orders to help us get through this. We appreciate you all 🩷

We just got home 🥰
ER vet said his temp had gone down, they didn't think he needed to be hospitalized. Ran a blood panel and it looked good. Added an additional antibiotic and gave him some more fluids.
Going to monitor him and I'll contact my vet in the am if he's not eating still and see about him going back to them for more fluids if needed. Fingers crossed he gets over this nasty bug soon.

I took Donut back to the vet today for another test and his temperature was very high so they sent us to the ER vet. I have spent so much at the vet already this week so here's a sale.

Donut update:
He spent the day at the vet again yesterday. He still wasn't eating so they did repeat xrays, we sent those out to a radiologist specialist and they confirmed no blockage so he didn't need surgery thankfully. They kept him to give him more fluids, gave him an anti inflammatory and pain meds and he cane home with some special food.
Last night he ate a little, enjoyed a few pieces of chicken nuggies and a churu. He slept most of the night with me and had a churu this morning and now he's curled up under my feet on a blanket while I start work.
The hope is that he starts eating more slowly, he has had the most expensive tummy ache ever. I just want my little guy feeling better 🐾

My sweet baby Donut isnt feeling well. We had a full workup vet visit today and im hoping he's feeling better by tomorrow 🤞
I realized he hasn't really ate the last few days and he didn't sleep with me last night and he always sleeps with me. I thought he felt a little warm and i weighed him and suspected he may have lost some weight. He did have a low fever and lost about a pound since his visit last October.
He had xrays and bloodwork done today, an antibiotic shot, anti nausea shot, IV fluids and came home with an appetite stimulant. If he isn't feeling better by tomorrow they want him back for more xrays with the possible discussion of surgery incase there's a blockage 😭

I'm always so happy that my vet gets me in same day and everyone there is so sweet and amazing. I'm there enough that they know me pretty well 😻😹

It's Pretzel's first birthday 😻 She's come a long way from living on the streets to living the good life 🥰

So incredibly thankful for for saving her and allowing us to adopt her. I've made a donation to the rescue today in her honor with some profits from the rescue round 🐾

They are helping out with my local cat population so much, any funds they get will help TNR more cats and pay vet bills for ones in foster/rescue. 🩷🐈
