American Musical Productions Dedicated to preserving and performing historic American musical theatre and popular song.

Founded in 2003, American Musical Productions is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization specializing in "living history" productions bringing historic American music and performers 1890-1949 back to the stage for a new generation of audiences. American Musical productions also is devoted to restoring and reviving forgotten works from the American musical stage 1890-1929.

We’re thrilled to collaborate with the Middletown Historical Society on our next concert on June 20th. We’ll be paying tribute to perhaps the most famous historic band in the state, the ARMCO Band, recreating a 1926 program conducted by Frank Simon.

We're honored to collaborate with America 250-Ohio and CAPA - Columbus Association for the Performing Arts to celebrate America's 250th Birthday on July 4th. We'll be performing a FREE band concert "Beautiful Ohio: Music by Ohioans 1896-1926" on the stage of the Columbus' historic Ohio Theatre at 2:30 PM. This concert features a 32-piece band performing music by 18 Ohio composers.

🇺🇸 Just announced: America 250-Ohio Signature Homecoming & Picnic 🇺🇸

Celebrate the United States’ semiquincentennial – its 250th birthday! – with a day of fun, food, and reflection as America 250-Ohio, in partnership with the City of Columbus, Ohio Statehouse, Ohio History Connection, Columbus Symphony, Columbus Commons, and CAPA, hosts a Signature Homecoming & Picnic event from 11 am to 10 pm Saturday, July 4 at the Ohio Statehouse, Columbus Commons, and the Ohio Theatre.

The day will culminate in a free concert & fireworks at the Columbus Commons called "Columbus Symphony Celebrates America."

While the Mozart was demolished in 1955, celebrate the centennial of this classic film on November 2nd at the historic 1926 Canton Palace Theatre. American Musical Productions' 18-piece orchestra featuring Jay Spencer at the Kilgen Wonder Organ will perform the film's original score under the direction of Joseph Rubin.
