I have been painting Mary Our Queen Catholic Church to unify the architecture around the altar in preparation for several large murals to be installed. I finished today and cannot wait to see the work of Neilson Carlin unveiled on Monday!

This year, History Cherokee is making our annual Kentucky Derby Day a bit more colorful with the introduction of a painted horse competition that we're calling the Crescent Farm Cup!

Life drawing begins Thursday evening Local Color Studio LLC! I have learned so much drawing from the live model over the years. It continually challenges me to draw what I see. The human body is an excellent teacher!

This project-based class is open to ages 8yrs-adult at any level. This week we will be drawing our live model Catherine! She will be modeling in activewear to enable the class to work on figure drawing.
