Two upcoming events with the choirs:
1. A combined concert with the Massillon choir and the choir of central Presbyterian church at central Presbyterian this coming Wednesday Oct. 30th at 7 PM
2. A TTBB chorus day and concert with Bowling Green State University mens chorus on Nov. 7th. A concert with BG and the festival choir (McKinley students participating) will be held at St. Paul Lutheran church in Massillon at 7pm that evening.
Both events are free!

It’s coming soon! The boosters are helping sponsor our first ever high school fall concert and pot-luck dinner on October 3. Information will be sent to parents this Friday.

Our first parent meeting is scheduled for Tuesday evening September 10th at 7 pm. Message Mr. Popa on parent square or email for details.

It’s been a quiet spring. The boosters are really looking for a few more leaders next year. Our president graduated with his senior this year, so that post is now open and so is one other board position. No time for that? Maybe a committee chair for special project then? Reach out to Mr Popa at the school.

Also in the news…bowling green state university men’s chorus will be here in November!!!

We missed you tonight at the boosters meeting. Please consider joining us on Saturday morning May 18th for a choir clean up day at McKinley main campus. 9-11 AM coffee and donuts provided. All are invited :)

This past Tuesday the high school choir and drama students had their turn to see the musical “Funny Girl” at Playhouse Square.

Last Thursday middle school and some high school choir students traveled to playhouse square to see the musical MamaMia. The boosters helped fund the trip with discounted tickets and pizza beforehand. One more trip for mostly high school students is planned at the end of February.

Congratulations to our high school choir students who participated in the OMEA solo and ensemble adjudicated event at McKinley on January 27th. Students received 7 superior ratings and 9 excellent ratings. There were 3 festival class participants.
