(pronounced nah-tar-wah), was established in 1993 as a student-run coffeehouse at St. Lawrence University (SLU), it is a well-known venue among touring bands on the East Coast of the United States, including those who have risen to fame such as Ani DiFranco, Guster, Dave Matthews Band, Vertical Horizon, and Zach Deputy. Thank you💟 Thank you seniors (and Garrett of course) for all that you do for the Java Barn. It’s so hard to say goodbye so instead we’ll say see you later. We know you’re going to go on to do amazing things and make even more amazing memories, but we hope you never forget the ones you had at 5 University Ave. We had nights that ended at 6am with countless games of imposter (I’ve experienced it) to numerous calls to maintenance for just about anything you can think of. The cuddle puddle was home to nap times, late night talks, competitions to see just how many people could fit on it, and a comfy spot for extremely long house meetings. You are a group who will never be forgotten and will always be missed, and we’ll forever be sad to not see yours names in the book anymore. You all will be leaving such a hole in our hearts (one even bigger than the one in the venue bathroom wall) so all we hope is you visit as much as you can, or just move back in??? We love you Maddie, Luke, Madigan, David, Cole, Will, Trey, and Garrett. 5 Uni is your home always 💜💛

Hello hello Java friends, we are in need of your help! We need DJ and EDM artist recommendations ASAP!

We are hosting an event with the DUB on Saturday 4/8(previously known as the Women’s Resource Center aka our next door neighbors).
The event is called bRAVE (like “brave” and “rave”) with a mission focused around spreading awareness about q***r domestic and interpersonal abuse, and donating money made from the event to the Renewal House.

Unfortunately, their DJ backed out last minute, and we are left with only 6 days before the show! This is a desperate request for any recommendations on DJs who are available and that would fit the missions event.

Please comment or dm or anything! We are desperate for any help you guys could provide!!
