Aftermath Haunted House is always looking to improve the scare factor for our customers and give them more screams for their buck. For the 2026 year, we have partnered with Derick Brady at Brady's Locksmith. Derick Brady was able to use his knowledge and skills to make the haunt even scarier. The Recreation District would like to thank Derick Brady at Brady's Locksmith for donating his time to repair numerous scare points in the haunted house. Thank you for making a community event even better. Join us at Aftermath this October to see his handywork!

Kids klub will be hosting a Donation Collection Drive for the firefighters who are currently fighting the fires in our area.
We will be hosting the collection drive on Monday, July 6th between 1 PM and 4 PM at Washington Elementary .606 N 9th St in Canon City.

The following items are in need;
Bottled Water
Gatorade
Powerade
Celsius Drinks
Body Armor
Electrolyte Mixes
Sunscreen
Bug repellant
Blistex chapstick
Body Wipes
Individually packaged snacks including;
peanut butter and cheese sandwich crackers gold fish
Rice crispies
Pistachios
sunflower seeds
trail mix
fruit and grain cereal bars
granola bars
beef Jerky
cheez-its
Welches fruit snacks
Nabisco multi pack cookies

Every donation helps! All items collected at Kids Klub's donation collection drive will be taken to the Emergency Operations Center.
