The Madrid Theatre is owned by The City of Los Angeles and operated by The Department of Cultural Affairs. The City of Los Angeles is committed to the presentation of artistic and cultural events that represent the youth, families and artists of Canoga Park and its neighboring communities. The Madrid Theatre is a 430-seat, state-of-the-art performing arts facility located in the heart of historic

“Antique Row” in downtown Canoga Park, California. Originally, a movie house that was destroyed in the 1994 Northridge earthquake, the Madrid Theatre has become a partner and a creative center for the surrounding cultural district. Our goal is to create a nurturing and affordable performance space that is dedicated to promoting diversity and creating a culturally rich environment to live, work and play.
