Jeffrey Hull Gallery A fine art gallery in downtown Cannon Beach exclusively featuring the paintings of Jeffrey Hull.

Since 1987, the gallery has been sharing the work of local artist Jeffrey Hull. For over 50 years, Jeff has been known for his ability to capture the beauty and moods of the places where water joins land. Jeff controls the difficult medium of watercolor, often in very large paintings and after working exclusively in watercolors for over three decades, he returned to painting in oil as well back in

2006. His deep love for this area is clearly seen in his original paintings and prints; and he is rarely found far from the ocean's edge: the source of his inspiration.

We often get asked if Jeff teaches and his normal response is 'every day'. If you're an artist of any type and happen to catch Jeff in the gallery, he's always very forthcoming with information and happy to provide tips or advice. In that spirit, we find it appropriate that our first foray into YouTube (we have a channel now!) would be to share video of one of his art festival demonstration paintings. It's a long watch, but if you're a watercolorist or just want to know how Jeff does things, it's fun to listen to him talk about his approach while watching a watercolor painting slowly unfold.
