No stock photos. No fancy telescope. Just a Pixel phone, a dark night, and the sky above the campground.

One of our favorite things about camping up here happens after the campfire burns down and the lights go out. Look up. On a clear night, the sky over Sugar Mountain can be absolutely incredible.

If you've been thinking about getting away for a night or a weekend, this is your invitation. Bring a tent, bring the family, bring somebody you want to sit around a fire with—and don't forget to look up.
