Thursday, July 16th is our 2026 Opening Night, 4-9pm in Fitzgerald Park! Join us for our 3rd annual Flamin' Hot Wing Competition sponsored by Mountaire Farms! It's a fun evening with fantastic "All U Can Eat wings, beverages, homemade peach ice cream and the very best entertainment by BEACH FEVER BAND and Tracy Bates and the Circuit Riders!! REGISTER YOUR TEAM OR BUY YOUR "ALL U CAN EAT" TICKETS ON OUR WEBSITE. All proceeds from this event will go to support our Candor Police Department! Come celebrate America's 250th Birthday with us in July!!

Parade Registration for the 2026 N.C. Peach Festival is now OPEN. Visit our website at NCPeachFestival.com to download your form and return it to us at our email address: [email protected]. You may also mail it to us at: NC Peach Festival; PO Box 220; Candor, NC 27229. There is no fee for entry, however you must register by July 17th if you wish to participate.

As mentioned last week, we have decided not to allow the throwing of candy or any other objects at this year's parade. Our decision was prompted by the Town of Candor's Property and Liability Insurance Provider who insisted the practice be stopped. However, participants are allowed and encouraged to have someone walk with your group and personally handout candy if you wish to do so.

Popsicles are NOT ALLOWED. Four-wheelers are NOT ALLOWED.

We are super excited to celebrate America's 250th Birthday with you all!! We hope you'll enter the PEACHIEST and/or MOST PATRIOTIC vehicles, floats, tractors, golf carts, etc, that you can possibly design. See you on July 18th for the 2026 N.C. Peach Festival!!!

We are proud to announce this year's GRAND MARSHALS are The Sand Band!! We have a soft spot for these "local" guys who have performed at the N.C. Peach Festival for 28 years (every single year since the festival's inception)! This spring, they were inducted into the Carolina Beach Music Hall of Fame!!
