The Yellow Medicine County Fair Board would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to MVTV Wireless for their incredible support of our fair over the past 15 years.

For more than a decade, MVTV Wireless has generously provided free internet service to the Yellow Medicine County Fair, helping our vendors, exhibitors, fair staff, volunteers, and attendees stay connected throughout the event. Their generosity and commitment to our community have played an important role in the success of our fair year after year.

We want to publicly recognize and express our appreciation for their longstanding partnership and support. The services they have provided have helped keep our fair operating smoothly, and we are truly grateful for their dedication to the Yellow Medicine County Fair and the communities we serve.

Until Next Year

As the bounce houses come down, the livestock trailers head home, and another Yellow Medicine County Fair comes to a close, it's hard not to pause and reflect on what an incredible week we've shared together.

To every family who walked through our gates...
To every volunteer who gave their time...
To every sponsor who believed in our vision...
To every vendor, entertainer, and exhibitor...
And to every person who came out to support our community...

Thank you.

A county fair is so much more than rides, food, and grandstand events.

It's kids proudly showing the animals they've cared for all year.

It's families making memories together.

It's neighbors catching up over a meal.

It's volunteers working behind the scenes long before the gates open and long after they close.

Most importantly, it's a community coming together to support the next generation.

To our 4-H and FFA exhibitors—thank you for sharing your hard work, dedication, and passion with all of us. You are the reason county fairs continue to matter, and we're incredibly proud of each and every one of you.

As we pack everything away for another year, we leave with full hearts, tired feet, and countless memories we'll carry with us until next summer.

As the sun sets on another amazing Yellow Medicine County Fair, we invite you to help us close out the week with live music from one of our own.

There's something special about cheering on local musicians who grew up right here in our corner of southwest Minnesota. Their passion, talent, and hometown pride make them the perfect way to wrap up an incredible week at the fair.

Whether you've been with us every day or tonight is your first visit, grab your favorite fair food, pull up a lawn chair, and enjoy an evening of great music with family, friends, and neighbors.

Saturday night is traditionally our biggest and busiest night of the Yellow Medicine County Fair, and the Baja Races are one of the events people look forward to all year long.

The grandstands fill up fast, and once the racing begins, you won't want to miss a second of the action.

Baja Races begin at 7:00 PM

If you're still making your way to the fair, this is your sign to head over now, grab a snack, find your seats, and get ready for an action-packed evening!

A huge THANK YOU to the Sportsman's Club for opening your doors and allowing us to use your facility for today's Kids Pedal Pull during this extreme heat. ❤️

The safety of our participants, families, volunteers, and staff will always come first, and your generosity helped us provide a cooler, safer place for the kids to compete and have fun.

🚨 HEAT UPDATE – SATURDAY SCHEDULE CHANGES ☀️🌡️

The safety of our exhibitors, participants, volunteers, and fairgoers is our top priority. Due to the extreme heat, we have made a couple of location changes for today's events.

🚜 Kids Pedal Pull The Pedal Pull has been moved from Center Grandstand to the Sportsman's Club.

📝 Registration will take place in the Training Room inside the Sportsman's Club before the event begins.

🎶 Hopeful Hits Today's performance has also been moved indoors and will now take place in the Pavilion instead of the Outdoor Stage.

These changes will help everyone stay a little cooler while still enjoying all the fun the Yellow Medicine County Fair has to offer.

Thank you for your understanding, and don't forget to stay hydrated! 💧 Free bottled water is available at our hydration stations throughout the fairgrounds. We'll see you at the fair! ☀️🎡

A huge THANK YOU to Runnings of Canby for donating an entire pallet of bottled water to help keep our fairgoers hydrated all weekend long!

And thank you to Dairy Queen of Canby, P.K. Pagans, and Heroes Sports Bar & Grill for donating ice to keep that water ice cold on these hot summer days.
