What a great week for the Canal Wi******er Performing Arts Collective. On Saturday, we welcomed over 80+ members of our ensembles and community to our 3rd Birthday party. Thanks so much to CW Methodist for the use of their space and all the people who worked so hard to create a great experience for all.
On Thursday this week, August 27, the Wi******er Voices will present our Summer Serenade concert, Gender Road Christian Church, 7:00pm. We hope you can join us!

The backyard of the home on Trine Street where we planned the Birthday Party is a lot like most of ours right now.
Pretty flooded. It may be fine come Saturday, but we’re not going to risk it.

Our 3rd Birthday Party for the CWPAC has been moved to Canal Wi******er Methodist Church, 15 W Columbus St.
We’ll be around the back side of the building. There shouldn’t be any parking concerns.

It’s still 1:00-4:00, Saturday, Aug 22.

Are you a member of a Canal Wi******er Performing Arts Collective ensemble - Wi******er Chimes, Wi******er Steel Co., Wi******er Voices, Wi******er Wackadoos, Wi******er Winds?

It's time to celebrate our 3rd Birthday! You're invited to join us on Saturday, August 22, 1:00-4:00 on Trine St in CW. Come celebrate with food, games, door prizes, and more! We have a wide range of food planned, with food sensitivity and allergen friendly options available along with burgers, hotdogs, and a bunch of sides. Attendees will also get the opportunity to enter multiple giveaways, including some exclusive CWPAC merch, free ensemble registration for a year, and multiple community gift cards.

We want to give a big Shout Out to everyone who joined us at the Summer 'Wi******er Chimes Concert with New Friends.' It was a great success. The Summer ensemble did a wonderful performance.
The Flash Mob Pop Up ensemble was a big hit. Some drove multiple hours to participate. Thank you for joining us and taking the leap of faith.
The audience voted on which songs the Pop Up ensemble would sight read during the performance. No one in the ensemble or even the director, Konrad Deeg, knew the results until each song was announced individually. The audience chose: My Favorite Things, Themes form The Lord of the Rings, Hallelujah, Romantic Flight, and Scarborough Fair. We all know how important it is to create Art and share our passions with others.
Next up is the Summer Serenade by the Wi******er Voices Choir, Thursday, August 27.

Summer means taking time to make new friends. The CW Performing Arts Collective is very excited to announce our Wi******er Chimes Handball Ensemble's Summer Concert With Friends, Saturday, August 8, at 2:30pm. The Wi******er Chimes will present their Summer selections … and then we'll have a Pop Up Flash Mob Bell Choir!
These Pop Up players are from all over Ohio. Each is a skilled player, but the ensemble has NEVER rehearsed the music together. We will give the audience a list of 8 songs. Tyou can then vote on your favorite pieces and the top 4 will be performed by this newly formed Handbell Ensemble! Join us in Canal Wi******er for this concert like no other.

There are very few people that have not had a friend, loved one, or themselves touched by Cancer. The CW Performing Arts Collective proudly supports the Canal Wi******er Relay for Life, Saturday, August 1.
The Wi******er Winds Instrumental Ensemble and the Wi******er Steel Co. Steel Drum Band will be performing at Square Canvas. Come out and join us as we show our support for all those who have dealt with this decease.

We've had an incredible Summer of Performing Arts Workshops. You can join us for our last session on Sunday, August 2, 2:00-3:30, Discover Steel Drums. Canal Wi******er has the oldest Steel Drum program in Central Ohio. Over the last 25 years, we've worked with Grammy Award winners and performed with icons of the Steel Band world.
There's no pervious experience or Canal Wi******er residency required.
It's been a pretty hot Summer, so transport yourself to the beach and play some Steel Drums! Go to CWPerformingArts.info to read more about the workshop and reserve your spot.
