SilverJewel Studios I have been a goldsmith for 24 years and work in gold silver, platinum, copper and other metals. I make, repair and design jewelry of all styles.

I also make larger pieces for home decor and work in photography. I try to take photos that will evoke some feeling or make someone wonder what is going on in that particular shot. I also make jewelry that I hope is different than the norm.

Bobby and I stopped in at the Sedona Gem and mineral show yesterday. I walked away with this fantastic book about Agates by Pat McMahan as well as Five new Iolite Sunstones (stones can be purchased in the store and made into a piece of your liking. This one is a bit hard to see all the process photos but try zooming in. I took my customers krugerrand and hand fabricated (hand rolled, cut, filed and formed) this ring using her other two diamond bands. She wanted 2 roses on top with her diamonds set into them. I also made two plain bands to widen the set.

Not the best pictures of these new custom hand fabricated wedding rings. The customer had family rings that are hand engraved on the inside of the bands and then I laminated/soldered hand cut gold onto the top of the bands and crushed/ inlay the customers turquoise pieces into the bands. I not only got the pleasure of making their wedding bands but I was also asked to photograph their wedding in a few weeks so stay tuned.
