Cre8 Studio is hosting a kids' Art Club for 10 weeks on Wednesdays Sept 3- Nov 12 (no meeting Sept 17). The time is 4-5 pm. This is for girls ages 8-12. Cost is $10 per session, all materials provided. Call 816-284-0217 for more information.

Sharon McVicker was a proud Cameronite and a terrific artist. Her illustrations of the Cameron Dragon were used for many years, and she painted one on the wall of the gym at CHS. Several can now be seen on the senior composite pictures in the halls of The Old School. I painted this interpretation of her dragon, and her son, Jamey McVicker, gave me permission to use it at Cre8 Studio.
