Keep the Legend Rolling!

Remember the late-night post-competition meals, the smell of chicken alfredo after a long bus ride, and the absolute comfort of a hot bowl of baked potato soup?

For decades, the Pride of the Lake Marching Band Chuckwagon has been the heartbeat of our band family. It has fed thousands of hardworking students across hundreds of competitions. Whether you remember eating those meals after a cold October performance or serving hungry band kids under a canopy, you know how vital the Chuckwagon is to our program.

Now, it’s time to give it a little love in return!

While the band is taking the stage at BOA Nashville, we’re calling on our Band Alumni and Band Parent Alumni to step up back home. We need volunteers to cover our concession stand, and every hour worked goes directly into a fund to repair and update our beloved Chuckwagon.

Grab a band buddy, reconnect with old friends, and help us keep this tradition alive for the next generation!

The Pride of the Lake Marching Band traveled to Branson today and competed in the Branson Marching Invitational.

The band placed 1st in Class 4A and nearly sweeping all the captions in preliminary performance, advancing to finals performance with 13 other bands.

In finals performance, the band placed 2nd in Open Class.

We are so proud of our students’ hard work, dedication and resilience!!

Come watch The Pride of the Lake Marching band perform next Saturday in prelims at 1:45pm!

Pirate Stadium at Branson High School boasts a 3,000+ seat spectator area with brand new seating, new turf field, and an unrivaled performance venue with spectacular view of the Ozark Mountains.

There will be a multi-camera livestream for all family members who cannot make it live!

Competition will take place in a Prelims-Finals format with the top 14 scoring bands, regardless of class, making finals.

These kids are working so hard in preparation for our second competition of the season next Saturday in Branson!

We are thankful for our business sponsors, our volunteers and community for all the continued support!! We cannot do this alone!

🎶 The Pride of the Lake Marching band competed on Saturday at the Golden Regiment Invitational Marching Festival in Blue Springs, MO among 11 other marching bands from Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and South Dakota.

These kids showed grit and grace throughout the day as they encountered rain, requiring them to take extra precautions with instruments, electrical equipment, and making for a slippery field and wet uniforms. They persevered through it all and gave a fantastic performance and took 2nd place in Open Class 1. 🏆

*Many marching band competitions compete and are scored by Class, using the size of the school’s student enrollment. This competition was unique in that it was an Open Class, allowing schools of varying student enrollment to compete among one another. It challenges students and staff to reach higher technical and artistic standards. Rigorous critique from top adjudicators helps accomplished programs grow and it allows bands to compete against the best regional or national groups.

🎶The Pride of the Lake marching band will travel to Blue Springs this Saturday, 09.26 and compete in the Blue Springs Golden Regiment Invitational alongside 11 other marching bands from Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota.

🎷🌀The Pride of the Lake will take the field at 7:15pm at Peve Stadium!

These kids are working so hard in preparation for our first competition next Saturday in Blue Springs!

☀️ 96 degrees is brutal for an all day marching band rehearsal but these kids are dedicated, working as a team, and getting it done!
