Avard Dance Company Welcome to Avard Dance Company! We are so excited to bring dance back to Camden🤍

⭐️ Homecoming Parade Reminder! ⭐️

Please arrive at the high school parking lot by 12:15 PM. You must park at Manley Field and walk your dancer over, as no vehicles will be permitted in the high school parking lot unless they are participating in the parade.

Our float should arrive around 11:00–11:15 AM. If you’d like to help us decorate, you’re welcome to come then! It shouldn’t take long, and helping is completely optional. 💙

Dancers may wear their navy recital shirts from last year or really anything they’d like! Since it’s chilly this morning, please bring layers and a water bottle.

Candy is not necessary, but dancers are welcome to bring some if they’d like to pass it out during the parade! 🍬✨

** We are #28 in the Parade and in Row #4 in the parking lot. Closer to the school/cafeteria and on the auditorium side!

✨ Accelerate AcroDance Convention — Boston! ✨

Last weekend, two of our Avard competition dancers, Amelia & Kinslee, had the opportunity to attend the Accelerate AcroDance Convention in Boston! 🤸‍♀️💃

Throughout the weekend, they challenged themselves in classes focused on acro skills, lyrical, technique, Broadway, jazz funk, and even an introduction to breakdancing! They worked with incredible instructors, tried new things, and experienced so many different styles and approaches to dance.

It was also such a special full-circle moment to see the instructors who worked with Miss Jen during her AcroDance certification now working directly with Avard dancers! 🧡

We are so proud of both girls for stepping outside of their comfort zones, working hard, and representing Avard!

A special congratulations to Kinslee, who was awarded a scholarship to attend next year’s Accelerate AcroDance Convention! 🎉👏

Such a fun weekend of learning, growth, and making memories! We can’t wait to see them bring everything they learned back into the studio. 🩰✨
