This week features 20 original pieces from 20 talented South Carolina artists — Cindy Thompson, Debi Kelly, Cathy Love, Janice Phillips, Lucie Bergeron, Becky Ratz, Forrest Fortier, Yvonne DeBandi, Tami & Don Cottrill, Janet Brown, Beth Ryan, Ann Marie Corrao, Clare Marlow-Eilbeck, Pamela Faber-Greaves, Ann Dowling, Laura Kane, Ann Byrum, Debra Shively, Robin Houston, and Dana Lee Eustace (Hazel Eyes).

Prices range from $5 to $710 — a glowing Shelby Cobra wall sign, an antique window turned whale's tail from hand-painted oyster shells, a great blue heron in gold leaf, and a painted bunting perched in front of the stars and stripes. Daily features roll out Tuesday through Saturday with a closer look at each day's four pieces.

From the view I saw… to the way I saw it.

This is one of my favorite parts of creating photographic art—the photograph doesn't always have to end exactly where the camera does.

I loved this view across Historic Camden, but I wanted the finished image to feel like a glimpse into another time. Warm Southern light, quiet fields and a little nostalgia—all beginning with the photograph I took that day.
