There's always something new to discover at Camden Art Shoppes! This week we're celebrating fresh original art from five of our talented artists — Clare Marlow-Eilbeck, Paula Gregory, Laura Kane, Pamela Faber-Greaves, and Yvonne DeBandi — each bringing their own unique style to the gallery floor.

🎨✨ Local art is now on display at Loopy Lemon!

Today, Camden Art Shoppes installed 12 original works by South Carolina artists for a special three-month exhibit at Loopy Lemon. We are grateful for the opportunity to bring local creativity into another gathering place in our community and to showcase the incredible talent of our artists.

If you’re stopping in for a meal, take a few moments to enjoy the artwork—and if something catches your eye, remember that every purchase supports local artists and the arts in our community.

Meet Paula Gregory — one of the talented artists at Camden Art Shoppes.

Paula grew up in South Carolina's P*e Dee region and always loved to sketch. A high school biology teacher noticed her talent and gifted her a colored pencil set — launching an artistic journey that's still going. Largely self-taught in watercolor and colored pencil, she now also works in pastel pencil, creating realistic botanicals, birds, landscapes, still lifes, and animal portraits inspired by the South Carolina she loves.

She's been showing her work since 2017, took second place at the Camden Visual Arts Society's Spring 2022 show, and takes on commission work in addition to her originals, greeting cards, and note cards.
