Art & Soul Clinic offers expressive therapy workshops for community members of all ages and skill levels. Services are founded on the belief that we all are creators in our own unique way. Art & Soul Clinic creates a nurturing environment where people of all ages and abilities can explore their creativity through expressive arts therapy and learn about the power of the arts as a means of transform

ation and healing. Tapping into creative spirit opens the door to mental, emotional, spiritual, and creative health by promoting stress relief, problem-solving skills, self-reflection, and mindfulness. The political, social, and economic systems we exist within do not prioritize the creative health and wellbeing of the People, lest it inspire us to unite and take our power back. That is why the work we do to heal and nourish ourselves is . Art & Soul Clinic prioritizes providing accessible services to low-income and marginalized communities, and celebrates the value of cultural knowledge and lived experience. Our next Art Clinic on April 2nd features a creative writing session led by .ik ✨ Study, imagine, and sacrifice yourself to the feeling of revenge in this Audre Lorde-inspired writing workshop 🌀📝🌀

What happens when you shed the shame and slaughter of being a “victim” and instead become the (anti-)hero you need? Inspired by Audre Lorde’s “The Uses of Anger” and “Uses of the Erotic,” we will explore the uses of revenge as a motivator for liberation. In this workshop, we will work through exercises to translate our imageries of vengeance into writing: through narratives and poetry, ransom letters and manifestos. The creativity, vulnerability, and truth of your experiences are needed, if only for one evening. 🌹🥀🌹

No previous writing experience required. Ideal for ages 18+

We want to make space to navigate dark themes without feeding judgement or shame. Be responsible for your own well-being.

This workshop is BIPOC and q***r-led and prioritizes the protection of BIPOC, q***r, and trans people. Attending this workshop means taking care of yourself and your neighbors.

Revenge is sweet, so there will be cake. As always, we will provide some art materials to bring your writing to life!

Trying something new! I’m offering a limited number of virtual tarot readings on March 27 for $27 😉 This is a good way for y’all to get a taste of my reading style and expand my tarot services to those outside of Boston.

Tarot is a spiritual practice that can help you set intentions and gain clarity. During our session we will examine the cards together, reflecting on their meanings, uncovering potential paths forward, gaining clarity around situations or decisions, and identifying opportunities for personal growth.

Clay altars! I love making these lately - I sculpt them with air-dry clay and then decorate with paint and collage, charms, etc. I use altars as a place of worship and devotion to specific concepts (gratitude, grief, protection), dieties, ancestors, parts of self, and more! These clay altars can hold candles, crystals, or other small objects. I hang them around my home, place them on a larger altar, or display them outdoors.

Come make your own and learn more about altarwork at this week’s Art Clinic! We will provide the art materials, but you are invited to bring some special items of your own to incorporate into your altar. We will also have additional resources centered on the arts & spirituality to explore during the session.

Art Clinics are for all levels of experience, including beginners.
Drop-ins are welcome, but we suggest giving yourself at least one hour to create the altar.
Ages 18+.

Excited for this one! In tarot, water is often associated with emotionality, interpersonal relationships, and the water signs Cancer/Scorpio/Pisces of the zodiac. Learning how to interpret the symbol of water in the tarot can greatly expand your understanding of the cards and readings!

You are invited to bring your own records and share your sound. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, everyone is welcome to spin some tunes and enjoy the vibes. Sign up onsite to play a short vinyl set on our turntables.

Round two of our Tarot & Astrology Workshop featuring will take place on Friday April 11 @ 6-8pm at our favorite brewery 🕯️🎨🪐✨

Join us to learn more about the special connection between tarot and astrology. We will identify tarot cards associated with our birth charts and create personalized stained glass art that reflect our astrological signs (swipe to see one piece made by a participant from last session)! This will be a causal meetup for mixed levels of experience, including beginners. Past participants are welcome to return and make a new piece!
