In these dark and scary times, the Harvard Square Holiday Fair was a brief respite, where community came together and found some joy. Thank you to all who came out and supported the fair, and major thanks to Denise and the HSBA team who are always there for us. It was so lovely to see so many old customers, as we say in the promo, meeting old friends and making new ones, at this the 40th anniversary of the fair. May goodwill and kindness prevail! May we work together to banish the evil forces at work in our country and work toward a new future with happiness and dignity for all.

Today is the last day of the 40th Harvard Square Holiday Fair! We open at noon until 6pm- that's 6 hours of peace love and holiday shopping! You'll have a chance to pick up a beautiful wall calendar, a great gift or for yourself from Migrant Winds, or one of her fabulous prints, shirts or pillow covers. And the wonderful watecolorist Sumiyo Toribe is here selling her wonderful art in many sizes - for any budget.

Need a gift of jewelry for someone on your list? There are many great jewelry choices at the fair this year. Mom Glassworks creates very chic and fun earrings and pendants, Sholeh Regna has elegant porcelain and gemstones necklaces and earrings, Jen Jen Jewelry has really original beaded earrings and necklaces, and Storyteller Jewelry has stories in her pendants and lots of cool earrings as well. And lovely silver earrings from Leslie and Michael.

The fair will open for the final three days on Friday, Dec 19th at noon (til 7), and is open Sat, Dec 20th from 11 - 7 and Sun, Dec 21st from noon to 6.
As many may know, one of the first exhibitors of Harvard Square Holiday Fair, Peter Grams, who was a master potter, passed away in July. A real loss to the fair, and to his family and friends. He is sorely missed.
This coming weekend we are welcoming a "new to the fair", but obviously very accomplished potter, Elizabeth Martin of Beech St. Pottery. Her work speaks for itself!

The fair is open today from noon to 6PM. Ilana Greenstein has a beautiful collection of hats, scarves, neck warmers and children's sweaters in many gorgeous colors, all knit by hand by Ilana herself. Hope you can make it.
