Our longtime partner Tempo International tempo.rhythm is a diverse group of percussionists from Trinidad and Tobago, bringing Caribbean Afro rhythms, improvisation, and powerful messages of peace, unity, and cultural connection through music. 🥁🌎

They’ll be joining us once again for J’ouvert 2026 to help kick off the beginning of Boston Carnival! 🎉

For the first time ever, Alison Hinds (Alison Hinds ) will be headlining the 32nd Cambridge Carnival. Come experience the music, culture, and energy—all completely FREE and open to everyone.

Join Cambridge Carnival International on Friday, August 21, for the Pan in the Park Panorama Showcase, an unforgettable evening of steel pan music, Caribbean culture, and community celebration at Magazine Beach.

Experience the vibrant sounds of the steel orchestra as the Cambridge Youth Steel Orchestra (CYSO) showcases the rich folkloric tradition of pan music. Bring your family and friends, enjoy the beautiful outdoor setting, and be part of one of the highlights of Cambridge Carnival International’s anniversary celebrations.
