This chair in the Common reminded me of a recent submission:

"No one asked about the chair, so I asked about the chair and they explained that they put it there to represent the person (not a specific person, but just that there was statistically likely to be a person) in every substance abuse recovery group who didn’t make it to their regular meeting because the disease of addiction took them down. Not just made them drop out of the program for a bit or forever, but took them down for good. The end. Dead."
