The Camas Public Library is offering a composting class on Thursday, September 10th, 4:30pm–5:30pm! Register here: https://camaspl.librarycalendar.com/event/compost-systems-32021
Composting keeps food waste out of the landfill, helps slow climate change and turns kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich soil for your garden. Join us for an introductory class about indoor and outdoor composting options. Learn how different composting methods work, including backyard bins, piles, tumblers, layered systems, and worm bins. We’ll also discuss indoor composting tools like Bokashi and countertop electric appliances. This class will help you choose the composting system that fits your space, lifestyle and budget.
