23rd Annual CAMAS PLANT & GARDEN FAIR, Saturday, May 7th 2022, Presented by the Downtown Camas Association 9 AM to 4 PM in Downtown Camas

Held the day before Mother’s Day in beautiful Downtown Camas, each year the plant fair draws in thousands of people. The fair offers fantastic plant & garden related items.You can explore unique offerings of garden art, planters, garden furniture, fountains, i

ron works, and a wealth of other locally made products. Hundreds of quality plants, trees, vegetable starts, hanging baskets, herbs--pretty much everything you'd need for your yard and garden. It’s a great opportunity to get something special for mom or to pick up something of your own. There is a free Kids' Zone with planting activities, petting zoo, and a giant Rose puppet! Not only will you be supporting local vendors, but you’ll also be supporting scholarships for local women. Funds generated by the vendor booth fees and a fabulous prize raffle go to sponsor educational scholarships for local women who are continuing their educations or returning to school.

Composting keeps food waste out of the landfill, helps slow climate change and turns kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich soil for your garden. Join us for an introductory class about indoor and outdoor composting options. Learn how different composting methods work, including backyard bins, piles, tumblers, layered systems, and worm bins. We’ll also discuss indoor composting tools like Bokashi and countertop electric appliances. This class will help you choose the composting system that fits your space, lifestyle and budget.
