Tonight! Join us for a special Tuesday race night in support of the USA BMX Foundationā€™s Warnicke Scholarship! We will also be recognizing our locals that earned state plates and competed in the SoCal state finals last weekend in San Diego. Bring your state final awards and state plates for our group photo happening after 2nd round of racing before mains.

Sign-ups and open track: 5-6:30PM, racing at 6:30PM. All racers will earn certificate awards.

Race entry fees will be donated to the Bob Warnicke Scholarship fund via the USA BMX Foundation. The Warnicke Memorial Scholarship Fund supports USA BMX student athletes to meet the costs of undergraduate, trade school, or other educational avenues students wish to pursue.

SAVE THE DATE! Tuesday September 1st - Bob Warnicke Scholarship race at Freedom Park BMX šŸ“ššŸŽ“āœļø

Itā€™s back to school time! What better way to celebrate the start of a new school year than supporting the USA BMX Foundationā€™s Scholarship Fund?!

On Tuesday September 1st weā€™ll be hosting our 2026 Bob Warnicke Scholarship race. All entry fees from racing that night will be donated to this Scholarship fund via the USA BMX Foundation. All racers will earn certificate awards for participating in this race.

The Warnicke Memorial Scholarship Fund supports USA BMX student athletes to meet the costs of undergraduate, trade school, or other educational avenues students wish to pursue. This scholarship has been awarded to several Freedom Park locals, including TO Hannah, USA BMX Coach Leyna,
Levi Huvard, and Maddie DeSantis.

Beginner lesson: 4-5pm, $20/rider. Includes open track after the lesson.

Open track practice: 5-7pm, $15/rider.

Riders need their own bike in good working condition, closed toed shoes, and a helmet. No training wheels, pegs, or e-bikes.

The Summer Heat Series is done & dusted šŸ’ØšŸ”„

HUGE congrats to our overall series winner, 9 Novice Kade Nunez Travis Robert Nunez, who earned the absolute maximum points (6 wins + all 10 race entry points with high rider count) and won himself a brand new Daylight Duster race frame!

And shoutout to our raffle winner, Rowan Givens Rowan ā€œGossip Girlā€ Givens, who also won herself a Duster frame by racing most of the series, which meant she had a lot of race entries in the raffle pot. We canā€™t wait to see Kade & Rowan ripping around the track on their new Dusters!

Lastly, thanks to ALL our riders and families for making these past 5 weeks some of the best of the year at the track. The vibes and track community are truly what make Freedom Park BMX special. We had 103 riders race the series, proving that BMX is alive and well in Ventura County.

SUMMER HEAT SERIES FIANLE!

Join us tonight, Thursday August 27th, for the finale of our Summer Heat Series. We'll be giving out a DAYLIGHT DUSTER frame to the overall series winner along with prizes for our top 10 series finishers. We will also be drawing our Duster raffle winner -- remember, every race you've entered during the series has given you a raffle ticket. The raffle winner does not have to present to win, but it will be so much more fun if you are!

Disclaimer: IF the winner of the series is also pulled for the raffle, we will pull another ticket.

Tie breaker scenarios for the series overall:

1st tie breaker: Total Series Rider Count
2nd tie breaker: Head-to-Head / 7thā€“10th Best Series Finishes.
3rd tie breaker: Total 1st Place Moto Finishes
4th tie breaker: Total High-Place Moto Finishes (2nds, 3rds, etc.)

Last leaderboard update before our Summer Heat Series finale!!

Jackson Voake is our lone leader with 6 series wins and the maximum entry fee points. BUT Jackson Espersen and Kade
Nunez both have 5 series wins and the maximum entry fee pointsā€” if either of them win tomorrow to match Jackson Voakeā€™s 6 series wins itā€™s going to come down to overall rider count as the tie breaker to determine our final top 3 šŸ‘€

Itā€™s going to be an epic final race of the series and TWO riders will be winning Daylight Cycle Co. Duster frames - the overall series winner and a random raffle winner. We will also be giving out prizes to the series overall top 10 and have a few more mystery moto prizes! Donā€™t miss the hottest race night of the year be there tomorrow, Thursday August 27th!
