Camano Island Pottery Texture, color, and form are the attributes of the ceramic art created at the Pottery on Camano Island.

The Pottery located in the Pacific Northwest has been in operation since 2001. All of the work of the Pottery is made by Roger The Potter.

I have made pots for more than 30 years and not one has gone through a wood-fired kiln. They all have all gone through either a gas or electric kiln. That being said, this photo sadly shows my first wood-fired pot. It was dug from the ashes of a friend’s home, burned to the ground in the Altadena fire.
