A big moment for our community! Governor Kathy Hochul has proclaimed May 2026 as Water Safety Month, recognizing the importance of water‑safety awareness across New York State — and celebrating that message right here at Splish Splash.

This proclamation highlights the shared responsibility we all have to promote safe swimming habits, early swim lessons, and awareness of drowning risks — especially for young children.

Last week, we welcomed our seasonal leadership hosts to our annual Leadership Training, where we explored Herschend’s Leading with Love: Heartspitality in Action course.

This program equips our seasonal leaders with the tools to guide others with purpose, compassion, and clarity. Together, we took a deep dive into the Nine Leadership Principles and focused on what it truly means to put love into action in the workplace.

Our hosts were challenged to understand each principle, reflect on their own leadership approach, and practice leading with love in every interaction. Watching them grow, engage, and commit to these values was an incredible way to kick off the season.
