If someone cooked up Hip-Hop, Gen-Z, Pop culture, Comedic Genius and a Hurricane in a crockpot the end result would be Cocaine Papii; A charismatic, rap-entre
preneur with an off the wall personality and the magnetic energy to match. Growing up he always looked up to managers, producers and the creators behind the music. At age 23 Papii started rapping just as a way to help his friends who were interested in becoming rappers in the music industry. After months of being locked in a warehouse recording music, learning how to rap and being surrounded by an environment of family, friends and other rappers who shared the same passion for music, Cocaine Papii was inspired to give rap a try. Right out the gate the 26 year old rapper began delivering high intensity flows mixed in with gritty vocals reminiscent of veteran hip hop icons like DMX & O.D.B. Envisioning himself as more than just a rapper Papii began mapping out a plan on how to turn himself into a brand. In 2018 he released his first single via SoundCloud entitled “ Where You Been Papii”, followed by several other singles and the release of his clothing line label “Black Heart”. Since picking up the microphone in 2017 Cocaine Papii’s volcanic energy, wild metaphors and controversial play on words have amassed him a cult-like following on the Internet. With over 700,000 in streams to date, Cocaine Papii's take no prisoners approach to social media paired with his constant collaborations with up & coming artists and well known producers have earned him a spot on the music industry’s radar. His energetic persona even caught the attention of R&B Artist, Summer Walker who featured him in her 2020 music video entitled, "White Tee''. By the end of 2020 Cocaine Papii signed an exclusive deal with AudioDream Records, an independent record label based in Los Angeles, CA and founded by music executive Julius Darrington. Now backed by his new label Cocaine Papii’s team gears up to roll out his master plan to become the next big brand in music, starting with the re-release of Cocaine Papii’s next single “4 REAL” set to debut in 2021 this spring on all streaming platforms.
