We were delighted to visit with artisan Brenda Eldridge at the Artisan Gift Shop today as she stopped by to restock her beautiful handcrafted soaps and body care products.

Brenda has a special gift for transforming everyday essentials into something both useful and beautiful. From richly scented soaps to luxurious whipped body butters, her creations are practical works of art, crafted with care and an unmistakable creative touch.

And just like the items she creates, Brenda herself is vibrant, fun, warm, and full of creativity. Her passion for her craft shines through in every detail.

We were delighted to welcome artisan Zettie Jones back to the Calico Rock Artisan Gift Shop today with beautiful new artwork in hand.

Her newest pieces, Spring Fling I and Spring Fling II, feature delicate irises and vibrant hummingbirds, capturing the beauty and wonder of the natural world in a way only Zettie can.

And just like her artwork, Zettie herself is a treasure. Her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit shine through in every piece she creates.

Both pieces are now available for purchase in the Artisan Gift Shop. Stop by and see them for yourself…they’re even more beautiful in person.

Some art takes your breath away…

This stunning stained glass creation was handcrafted by our very own Claire Cresto, one of the talented artisans featured in the Calico Rock Artisan Gift Shop and the creative force behind many of the exhibits throughout the museum.

Claire’s artistry shines through every detail of her work, blending beauty, craftsmanship, and patience into pieces that truly capture the eye. This woodpecker design is one of her newest creations and is available for purchase, along with her other beautiful stained glass pieces currently on display in the shop.

We are proud to showcase Claire’s work and grateful for the many ways she shares her talent with our museum and community.
