📣 Meet our August Little Artist of the Month: Finley! ✨

I am so excited to celebrate Finley and her creativity this month! Her artwork is now on display (and available for purchase!) here at the studio, so be sure to stop by and take a look the next time you're in.

Each piece is individually priced, and 100% of every sale goes directly to Finley to encourage and support her creative journey. Even if you're not purchasing a piece, we'd love for you to leave her a kind note sharing what you love about her artwork. Kind words bring these young artists so much encouragement 💗

This program is one of my favorite things at the studio 😊 Every month, we shine a spotlight on a young artist in our community, helping build confidence, celebrate creativity, and remind our kids that their ideas have value!

Join us for a fun morning of creativity at the park with Hummingbird House Art Studio! 🫟

Explore a variety of hands-on art stations where you can learn and practice basic art techniques, including:

🎨 Watercolor
🖍️ Pastels
✒️ Pen & Ink

We’ll also have a Sensory Art Station designed especially for toddlers, preschoolers, and young children.

Today's final summer middle school art lesson was all about the power of practice 🤗

Our challange was to complete 4 mini still life studies. Where we illistrated the same subject four times using four different mediums: Pencil, Colored Pencil, Oil pastels, and Paint! Each study was timed at just 10 minutes, encouraging these young artists to focus on observation skills instead of perfection. ❤️

- Quick studies like these are one of the best ways to build confidence, you will find your stuggle point faster and correct quicker with each study you complete. The more you practice, the more you improve. Every practice teaches you something. Good job today little artists!

I am excited to be showing some of my work at Create & Gather this year at Resurrection Anglican Church, Woodstock, GA

This showcase is a beautiful opportunity for artists to get their work out there and best part is that the artists keep 100% of their sales! Making it a wonderful opportunity for you too, to support the local creative community. I hope to see you there! ❤️

📣 Monday Hours Update!

Beginning August 10th, the studio's Free Come & Create Mondays will have new hours:

🕘 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

As the school year begins, I am adjusting our Monday schedule to better fit the season while continuing to offer this free creative time for this awesome community. I am excited to keep creating with you every Monday morning! 🎨❤️
