Took a little break after watermelon festival to get the kids ready for school and start tidying up the studio. 🧽 A part that isn’t as fun or pretty about pottery is reclaim! Those 5gallom buckets hold dry clay from pieces that didn’t make it to first firing, extra left over after trimming, clean off from the wheel and pieces that I forgot about and dried before they were finished! To save some $ and 🌍 I now get to spend time breaking it down, turning it into soup, letting it dry, wedging it until my arms fall off, and then FINALLY using it for pots this fall. 🐓 I’m also considering a fall Facebook sale of some leftover pieces. Let me know if that’s something you would like to see. 💜

Sneak peek of my bff’s, .swallow.pottery fabulous 2026 🍑 mug! If you are a true coffee lover you know you have a favorite mug/handle shape and this is my top choice. Beth is incredible and her mugs sell out VERY fast so get there quick if you want ones of these beauties.
