October 24th at Northwest Ga Fairgrounds indoor facility 6pm-9pm
$10 per person. Various local bands will be performing songs from movie soundtracks.

If we went back to the Fairgrounds on Oct 24th would you rather do another open stage or have a planned show about the history or rock-n-roll in movie soundtracks (similar to what we did at the GEM but songs from movies)?

One week away. Here are the details for the bands-
1. Everything will be provided and set up- Drums, 3 Mics, keyboard, bass amp, and two guitar amps.
2. All of this will be either DI'ed or mic'ed and sent back into stage wedges.
3. The stage will have floor monitors. We won't have time to set IEM's.
4. Guitarists are encouraged to bring any modeler they want to use but need to have it preset and ready.
5. On the first round, each band will be given 25 minutes total. This includes setup time. The idea is to take as little time as possible to set up.
6. We will have as many rounds as possible.
7. We should have the whole thing set up by 4:00. If you want to come and check it out.

For those planning to attend-
1. This is the new indoor, climate controlled facility at the fairgrounds. There are facilities and seating.
2. The cost is $10 per person over age 7.
In order to recoup expenses. If we make more than our expenses we will divide it up among the bands.
3. El Cubano food truck will be there.

Need some suggestions- Which guitar amp would be best as the "house amp" for the rehearsal space? And bass as well? They will also be what we use for our Open Stage event on 7/25. In other words, they will need to be good for a variety of spaces.

After tomorrow, the rehearsal space should be ready for use. The purpose is to allow a place for artists and bands to rehearse in a larger space. Another option is to use the various backdrop environments in the room for live feeds. Our ultimate goal is to have a complete back line and mics preset to make it a true "plug-n-play" experience. Let me know if you are interested in using it.
