Full disclosure, this project sucked. Don’t use soft wood when making a tankard yall. Anyway a coworker was talking about about a month ago and how they always wanted one of those wooden tankards but they were always so expensive. So we made a deal, get me the wood you want and I will make a tankard for you. Don’t know what I’m doing but I’ll give it a shot. In all not bad for a first time project but I’ll definitely improve my skills and designs then return to make more of these in the future.

Man…feels like I got this knife from my grandpa about 20years ago, and he had it for god knows how long before that. All I know is that the sheath that came with it had started to fall apart. If there’s one thing I’m grateful for during this whole pandemic thing is that I learned how to work with leather to some extent. Was able to make a new sheath for this thing rather quickly and I’m confident it’ll last for at least another 50years. Only time will tell.
