Join us this June at the Choctaw Cultural Center for interactive workshops designed for both adults and kids—each offering a unique way to explore traditional Choctaw food practices!
🥜 Kids Workshop: Build-Your-Own Tradish Mix
Young creators can join us for a fun and engaging workshop where they’ll taste a variety of ingredients inspired by traditional foods, then build their own personalized trail mix to take home. A creative way to learn about the foods our ancestors relied on!
🍓 Adult Workshop: Fruit Leather Making
Discover how food has always played a vital role in Choctaw identity. In this hands-on workshop, guests will create fruit leather—a nutrient-dense, travel-friendly snack—while learning how our ancestors used the resources around them to adapt, survive, and thrive. A meaningful experience that blends culture, history, and skill.
