We competed at Groove Dance Competition this weekend. I am so impressed with our dancers. Every time they get on that stage they wow me and they did not disappoint this weekend! Thankful for these girls and their families.

The awards are nice but what they learn from dance and performing will go with them for the rest of their lives. They did a fabulous job!

💙🤍🖤Trio🏀 “Space Jam” 🏀1st place in clogging category, Elite Diamond award, 1st place overall Teen Duo/Trio.

💙🤍🖤Emma’s Solo “County Girl” 1st place in clogging Category, Elite Sapphire award, 1st place overall Teen Solo.

💙🤍🖤Small Group “Hey Brother”
1st place clogging category, Diamond Award, 1st place overall.. Teen small group.

💙🤍🖤McKenlee’s solo “Jesse’s Girl” 1st place petite clogging category, Elite Sapphire award.

💙🤍🖤 McKenlee/Brinleigh’s duet “Daddy’s Money”, 1st place clogging category, Diamond award, 5th overall petite duet/trio.

The girls competed against some great competition. I love getting to compete with other cloggers and this competition had so many cloggers who showed up and were ready to compete. This was a large competition and there were a lot of routines. I am so proud of the hardware they brought home but I am even more proud of the performances they put on that stage!!

Our dancers are selling this delicious fudge once again! This is the perfect gift for your sweetheart, yourself or anyone that you love for Valentine’s Day. We will turn in our fundraiser on February 2 and will deliver before Valentine’s Day.

When you purchase from one of our dancers you are supporting their dream and love of dance. We are getting ready for competitions which means the dancers will be purchasing costumes, paying entry fees and traveling. We sure appreciate your support and a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported our Double Step Dance team. 💙

I love getting to spend time with these girls. We danced the afternoon away! They are working hard on their routines and they are looking so good. We were missing two of our team members due to sickness and hope to all be back together as soon as possible.

We are gearing up for competition season and we will be selling fudge just in time for Valentine’s Day this month!

Popcorn has arrived!! If you ordered popcorn from one of our dancers you should be hearing from them soon! Thank you to everyone that supported Double Step Dance by purchasing popcorn!

We will be selling fudge from Three Rivers in Calera in January…just in time for Valentine’s Day!! 💙

Our dancers are gearing up for a great season and will be selling popcorn and fudge to help raise money for our costume and competition expenses. Our popcorn fundraiser starts NOW and we plan to start the fudge fundraiser the beginning of December.

We are selling popcorn from the awesome Pop Around The Corner in Denison, TX. Our fundraiser starts today and ends November 19. It is a four week turn around time but it will be here just in time for Christmas!! You can reach out to your dancer and order thru them or you can order online. If you order online you can choose to have your order shipped or pick it up in store when it is ready. If you order thru one of our dancers personally they will deliver!!

A new season has begun and I am completely here for it!! I am so excited about what all we have planned and pumped for our new routines after our practice tonight. This was the first practice of the season and it was so good to be back together. These dancers showed that they have some quick feet tonight…they are pretty “Fancy Like” that. Looking forward to watching these girls grow and love getting to see their Momma’s!! 💙🤍🖤

We took sometime off after our big performance in June and it won’t be long before our 8 dancers, our crew, will be back together and dancing again! I am picking out music for our dances and looking forward to the season ahead of us. We have big plans and goals and I can’t wait to share with the girls all the ideas I have for our routines. We will be doing some fundraising this year and lots of performances!! Can’t wait for all my girls and the Momma’s to all be back in the same spot once again!-Laurie

Last night we had our first annual get together, shin dig, showcase...recital?!? Lol! When there is food, fellowship and entertainment I am not sure that recital is a good enough word so we will go with showcase! It was a great night. The girls performed in front of their families and friends and I think everyone had a great time.

We are so appreciative this dance season. Thankful we found a way most every week to meet up and practice doing what we love. Everyone’s schedules were busy because all our dancers have other activities they are involved in, which I love! I love that our dancers participate in other activities. It makes them better team members for it and helps improve their work ethic. Thankful for our crew’s flexibility and hard work!

We are extremely thankful to Lacey and Diana Weger and Carley and Greg Trammell for going above and beyond this winter and providing us places to practice when practicing outside was no longer an option! We are forever grateful! This season would not have gone as well had we not had a place to go during the cold and rainy weather. Thank you!! 💙🤍🖤

I am thankful for our dancer’s families and friends that attended last night and the ones who couldn’t be there. You all play such an instrumental role in who these girls are becoming and they are amazing people!! They come to dance each week ready to work hard and outside of practice they are such beautiful individuals. I am so thankful that our girls are surrounded by such wonderful people! Thank you for being a part of our dancer’s lives!!

I am extremely thankful for the dance Momma’s! They are truly the best anyone could ask for. Thank you all for anything and everything you have done this season. Thank you also to Nae Nae (Cindy White) for all you did this season. Last night was wonderful and I couldn’t have done any of it without you ladies!! 💙🤍🖤

I want to thank our dancers! Our girls worked so hard this year. They all learned new steps that weren’t easy and they practiced and worked to get them down. This was a big year for us and you sparkled and sweat your way thru it! You came to class, wherever we practiced, and worked hard. You showed up and it paid off! You are stronger and better dancers because of your work ethic and all your hours of practice. I am so proud of you and the people you are becoming. I love all your personalities and our crew would not be the same without each and every one of you! Receiving the “Class Act” award at Revolution was a moment that I will always remember. Hearing a competition talk about your sportsmanship, kindness to everyone there and the joy you all have to be on stage and at competition was amazing! I hope that you learn more than just dance from me and I hope that I teach you nothing but good. This world needs good and kindness and love! You all embody those qualities in dance practice and outside of dance practice. I am so proud of you all! You represent our 2 Step Crew well! 💙🤍🖤

Our 2 Step Crew performed on Friday at the Magnolia Festival. They did a fabulous job entertaining the crowd. Sure love each of these girls! They are so much fun! 💙🤍🖤
