Here is a fun Christmas Eve snack. I plan to make them, right before Santa leave for his all-night trip.

Santa was so wise in choosing reindeer for his all-night visit. Here is why?
1. Their eyes that can see in the dark and even see ultraviolent light. (How else could they see flying around the world at night?)
2. Their coat is so well insulated that when snow lands on it it doesn't melt but blows off. (How else to handle all that snow on the all-night ride.)
3. They have fur on all their bodies--even their noses. Only deer with fur on their noses. Plus, have extra blood veins in the nose to keep from freezing. (Santa knew it was extra cold flying around the world and choose an animal that was built for the job.)
3. The bones in their legs have oleic acid which serves as an anti-freeze to keep their legs from freezing in the deep snow.
4. Their feet are larger than other deer and the edges of the hooves are sharp, for scraping ice and snow away. (Perfect for landing on snowy/icy roofs.)

This page is GOING AWAY. Why?

It has been taken over by so many posts by so many people and advertisers that I feel it no longer serves our purpose.

However, we will continue our presence through our newer group the Idaho Santas Clearinghouse. If you wish to keep us on your horizon, please go there and like that page.

We have some new happening and directions for the business so please stay turned. Help us turn our 24 years of spreading the happiness of Christmas into another 24 years.

Once Halloween is down--Christmas can't be far behind. Our last year doing Santa and doing limited visits. Weekends are pretty full already.

Just checking in to let you know that we are still doing Santa and Mrs. visits in 2025 but this will be our last year--after 23 years. But no worries, we won't leave anyone without a Santa visit. We have started the www.IdahoSantasClearinghouse.com where you will be able to find/book a favorite Santa (and/or Mrs. Claus) for future years.

I think I am rather discourages with this page. I wish I would have set it up as a group rather than a page. It appears to me it has been taken over by advertisers. I hope you all can't see all those posts. They are not all I am excited about.

Before long I will delete this page and just use a new group I made called Idaho Santas Clearinghouse. For now, I'll just try to post updates as often as I can.

It is now September and time for the Santa requests to start rolling in. As I've said, Santa and I aren't doing a ton of them this year. We are mostly willing to do those that don't take a lot of standing or walking, or stairs. You see, that is why this is our last year, it is getting harder and we tire too easily.

What Is the Idaho Santas Clearinghouse?

The Idaho Santas Clearinghouse grew out of the "Santa Couple" initiative—a beloved seasonal venture started by Vernon and Ellen in 2001. Over time, as their popularity grew, the demand for Santa (and Mrs. Claus) appearances outpaced what they could personally handle. By 2023, to better serve the Treasure Valley and beyond, they expanded into a full-fledged Clearinghouse, coordinating multiple Santas and Mrs. Clauses to fulfill more holiday events. Their setup is now managed using specialized Party Pro Manager software to keep everything organized and available year-round.

All good things must eventually come to an end and the years have caught up with us. 2025 will be our last year officially as The Santa Couple.

24 years has gone by quickly and we are sad to have to get to their point. But we can't leave all our loved clients without a Santa so we have begun a small business called Idaho Santas Clearinghouse.

We have eight other Santa's that we are hiring to match up with your Santa needs. You can still call upon us, as always, and we will find you the perfect Santa for your event.
